I still remember my Rainbow Brite lunchbox. The tiny blue Thermos carefully held my chicken noodle soup and my mother always included a little note inside the box just for me. One thing about vintage hunting and collecting that keeps us hooked is that these objects had a past with someone else. Yes, vintage metal lunchboxes are very collectible. But, I still stop and wonder about the child who carried it to school each day. What a story a lunchbox holds!
