This week, I’m continuing my love affair with every color of the rainbow. My 2nd favorite this season is Coral. Paired with royal blue or white, or even hot pink, coral is a little bit of flirty goodness in your spring wardrobe. I’m currently hunting for a pair of coral flats to replace the ones Rufus (my giant puppy) ate. Unfortunately, he also has a thing for vintage footwear.

I’ve always wanted to try a Beehive- at least once! That big hair the girl groups rocked blows my mind. If you’re a fan of the big do-wop hair, try out this Beehive! My Mom is the best thrifting partner I’ve ever had. So, to celebrate my 30th, we went on an all-day thrifting mission across the river in Illinois. Evidently, the goal was to buy anything and everything we liked and pack the car so tightly we could barely fit back inside. We scored some really fun finds! My favorite find of the day was the BeeGees turntable (with microphone) for only $5! Insanity. Now, I can finally sing Jive Talkin’ in style…

Today in St. Louis it will be a mild forty-something degrees with a cool blast of wind every fifteen seconds. I’m definitely over it! Give me sunshine, poolside, BBQ, and sandals please! This year I am once again on the hunt for a vintage suit. Some of these pretties in the video are giving me great ideas!

I’ve got the blues… in a good way. Royal Blue is huge this season! It is such a rich, bright shade + an excellent addition to any outfit. I love this shade of blue when paired or accessorized with another of our best brights: pink, yellow, kelly green, and red. Of course, a royal blue vintage piece is even better! If you’re still a little wary of braving bright pants but want to infuse a pop of color into your late winter wardrobe, try out a bright or two-toned vintage statement necklace. Pick a decade, jewelry designers are hardly color-shy. These are just a few of my personal favorites, but you can see more of my picks on Etsy.

I keep stumbling across gorgeous patterns all over Etsy. What, at first, I thought was vintage fabric was actually vintage wallpaper. Color me stunned. I knew it existed, but the 80′s child in me had hidden wallpaper back in that dark corner of my brain. I did have to help my mother peel + strip the stuff from our kitchen walls. Now if the stuff we had on our kitchen walls came in these patterns instead of fruit + seashells, I would have never touched it!

I rent, so I won’t be popping this stuff on my own walls anytime soon. But as a DIYer always does, I’ll think of something to do with this gorgeousity! Shown are a few of my favorites I ran across during my search. Chime in! Are you a wallpaper hater…or lover?
